The time of Salzburg Festival always creates a cosmopolitan and glamorous aura around Salzburg. mafi takes  account to this situation and presents one of the newest innovations in natural wood flooring:
THE MAFI CATWALK.

Located in the Imbergstraße 9, the mafi flagshipstore exhibits this eye-catcher in its shop window. The design is inspired by the mafi Tiger oak – another innovation introduced by mafi – but the cracks are lighted with a specific LED module. With an included remote control the colours can range from deep red to dark blue or run through different automatic programs as well. These individual possibilities attract outstanding interest for commercial areas like bars, nightclubs or hotels.

This unique floor combines all the attributes mafi stands for. The wood is treated completely natural, only with mafi oil, which gives the floor its great resistance but also keeps the wood breathable and therefore allows the floor to regulate the moisture inside the rooms. On the other hand mafi catwalk proofs the innovative character of the mafi products by unifying technique and design.

The mafi Flagshipstore is located in the heart of Salzburg directly on the river Salzach with a beautiful view on the old centre of the city with the fortress in the background. You can park directly in front of the Store on a private lot. We are ready to welcome you Mon-Fri (10 am – 1 pm and 2pm – 6 pm) Of course you can also make appointments off time the business hours. mafi Flagshipstore Salzburg

mafi Flagshipstore is more than only a showroom for wooden floors, it is also a exhibition of art.
Every mafi wooden floor is a piece of art for itself no floor equals the other.

Exhibition:

You can see in the mafi Flagshipstore an exhibition of about 200 square meters. Once you come in you will be fascinated by the uniqueness of the floors. We have 100 different samples hidden from which we will find you favourite 2-3 samples.

In the kitchen of our showroom is a very grandiose prototype installed, mafi Glacier Oak white oiled, lye treated and with big branches.

In the exhibition room is the Oak Virgin with beautiful cracks that are cream colour filler, hand-planed surface and white oil. Similar products are Tiger Oak, Coral Oak and Magic Oak.
In our office you can see the Tiger Oak not only on the floor but also on the wall and on the ceiling. There is a very beautiful wall concept with integrated boards.
In storerooms and the toilet is the end-grained mafi Domino floor.
In the shopping window you can see the innovation 3-D massage effect floor mafi Fresco.

Who can visit the mafi Flagshipstore?

The mafi Flaghipstore offers the possibility for private customers and also for architects, designers, business partners and partners from other countries to see, feel and touch the floors. They have the chance to get a distinguished advice and a comprehensive picture of the whole wide spectrum of mafi products. We also consult architects and designers who want to work with mafi.
Important to know is that architects can use our showroom as well to consult their own clients. Also customers from our partners comes into the Flagshipstore because of our big exhibition and the profound personal consulting. We do the consulting for everybody who is interested in oiled floors, wood and interior solutions.

What else do they do in the mafi Flagshipstore?

We also make business meetings in the Flagshipstore with architects and business partners as well as trainings for partner, architects and installers.
The consultants from the Flagshipstore do not only have experience with wood and interior but also good experience with customers needs and satisfaction. They love doing the consulting as it is a welcome change to their responsibility of the global strategic sales development.
The office of the Flagship is the Export department of mafi and a consulting department as well. Everybody who gets there will get any needed information about natural oiled wooden floors even via skype.

Summer feeling

We want to present you our new shop window decoration. The topic is butterfly feeling in summer. Mrs. Brigitta Schölbauer/ Basis 4 used beautiful butterflies for the shop-window to get a very good feeling and a good impression for the summer time.

In combination with the natural wooden floors our shop get a very friendly impression for people who walk outside. We recognize people standing outside and having a look into the shop window every day. We will adopt the decoration for the summer festival and will change it in fall.

Flagship-window: Wedding in spring

At the mafi Flagshipstore Salzburg/Austria there is a new decoration for the springtime in the Shop-Window. The topic is Wedding in spring. The decoration is from the company Basis 4 / Mrs. Brigitta Schölbauer. We change our decorations 4-5 times a year, always matching the current seasonsal situations.

On the pictures you can see a chair made out chromed wood. The chair-design is from the Campana-Brothers Fernando and Humberto . The chair was chromed by our CI parnter AREA who provides a lot of more chromed furniture. If you are interestet please contact us.

mafi is very proud of it’s first mafi store in Asia. Our asian partner was recently opening a mafi concept store in one of Beijing’s best addresses for living, furniture and iterior. walk on art at mafi Flagshipstore in Salzburg

Last week the Vernissage of Claudia Nebel’s “Run for the Universe” took place at the mafi Flagshipstore in Salzburg. Visitors especially liked the symbiosis of mafi’s slogan “walk on art” and the art project where runners “prepared” the canvas for the artist.

Vernissage: Claudia Nebel’s “Running for the universe”

We are happy to announce the next Vernissage at mafi Flagshipstore in Salzburg. We will welcome Caudia Nebel, an Austrian Artist, with her project “Running for the Universe”.

During the Berlin and the Vienna City marathons Claudia Nebel involved over 50000 runners in her project. With their footsteps they left their personal footprint as a preperation for the art project.

After the marathons, Nebel portrated out some of the Runners after finishing the marathon. These 14 unique canvas will be presented ath the Vernissage at the mafi Flagshipstore on 9th of July 2009, 7.30 p.m.
