We currently have a very special and limited Oak available. We got some very nice and clear raw material on stock and are happy to present you our limited edition Oak Antique Light. The material is a fantastic mix of old, “recycled” wood and a not to vivid surface.
Product description:
Oak plank of genuine old oak wood in 3-layer construction with small bevel on long side and approx. 4 mm top layer, with approx. 4 mm backing in the same wood and middle layer conifer. Tongue and groove on all sides for easy installation.
Typical but reduced features of old wood such as some wormholes, sometimes a little bit of sapwood and also some cracks are positive features which makes this limited edition so unique. Knotholes and cracks are sealed with appropriate wood putty.

A client recently called me one and a half year after we did the installation of a mafi Larch wide plank in her private penthouse in Austria. She wanted to thank me for the help of choosing mafi floors and was very sceptic if the floor would be resistant enough for her family. “You have to know that I have three kids, two dogs and one husband. I really need a floor without problems.”
So when she called me she told me that she had an accident with the floor. Her kids mixed up the floor with drawing paper and made some “nice” scribbles on the floor. With markers. The Orb House
We just got forwarded an amazing project recently finished in Australia. They used mafi floors in the area which looks over the courtyard and pool. Mafi timber was chosen because of the perfectly matching design and because mafi was the only company which could supply wide plank timber boards over hydronic heating.
Same feeling – less temperature
Knowing that you save energy in heating your floor to a warm and nice temperature is another fact for using mafi on hydronic heating systems. It is sientific proofen that you must not heat up a brushed and natural oiled floor that high than every other lacquered wooden floor or tile for the same warm feeling. This saves energy and is much more healthy for your feet.
